Arbitrary Post

Its been a very long time since you might have seen a new post coming up! Well, even we missed you a lot too! The urge of writing was always there, but just lack of time! It ain't easier either to write blogs like we do. We need to carefully choose our words so that they hit the reader hard and leave an impact. And we need to go through a lot of things that effect the teens of today & also make sure that there is nothing repeated of the same kind.
Well, studies have kept us busy and I just happen to have this thought of how studies can take toll on most of the teens' hobbies. Writing has personally been my hobby, and studies just took away the hobby from me.
And today, as soon as I got time I'm here writing back!
There have been hell lots of ideas that crept up my head, which I would love to share with you all, not today but some other day.
And yeah, a little advice that I would like to give - Never ignore studies. If you do then well you are ending up nowhere unless you are one of those people who think that they can do something other than studies and also have their parents' back. Studies will surely help you become something respectable in the society and earn you a livelihood.
All the best, enjoy and wait for our next blog!
Adios!

We Are Our Own Prisoners

It is said "Life starts outside the comfort zone", but does it?
Have you ever tried doing something out of the box? Something you thought you could never do? If you haven't then you are living life the wrong way!
Back to where we started, Yes life does start outside the comfort zone!
Once you are out of your routine path, you get to know where you stand! You know what your strengths and weaknesses are! You realise who you are!
You might ask, what's the harm in staying in the comfort zone while I am happy? Well, you wouldn't find any harm now, but sooner or later this thought of yours will surely cause you troubles.
Just before its too late, come out and live. Take risks even if you fail. Just don't jail yourself inside the walls of your comfort zone.
Moving out of your comfort zone might not give you the taste of success, but it surely will teach you a lesson to remember for your lifetime! That one lesson will change the way you take life as or may be change your life completely, but yes, surely it'll have a big impact.
Don't be your own prisoner. Stop complaining. People who are in prisons are criminals! Don't make yourself one!
Move out of the comfort zone, live a better life.
Adios.

Thoughts and the difference!

A famous writer was in his study room. He picked up his pen and started writing:
**Last year, I had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time.
**The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job. I had spent 30 years of my life in this publishing company.
**The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.
**And in the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in bed at hospital with the cast on for several days. The destruction of car was another loss.
At the end he wrote: Alas! It was such bad year!!
When the writer's wife entered the room, she found her husband looking sad lost in his thoughts. From behind his back she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on side of her husband's writing.
When the writer saw this paper, he found this written on it:
**Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which I had spent years in pain.
**I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write something better with more focus and peace.
**The same year my father, at the age of 95, without depending on anyone or without any critical condition met his Creator.
**The same year, God blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but my son stayed alive without getting any disability.
At the end she wrote:
This year was an immense blessing of God and it passed well!!
See!!
The same incidents but different viewpoints. If we ponder with this viewpoint that what could have happened more, we would truly become thankful to the Almighty.
Moral : In daily lives we must see that its not happiness that makes us grateful but gratefulness that makes us happy.
There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.
Stay Blessed

Treatment For Depressive Disorder

Depression is a state of bad or low mood that can affect a person’s behaviour, activity, thoughts & also the sense of well-being. Once in depression, a person can feel helpless, guilty, irritated, anxious and also lethargic at times. You may lose the interest to do activities that were once very interesting to them. There can also be a decrease in appetite for you. You may also get the a few suicidal thoughts when in depression. Depression might be a symptom to major depressive disorder or just a reaction to normal like events.
Major depressive disorder is a mental disorder caused by several factors such as continuous bad/low mood or low self-esteem. This disorder has an adverse effect on a person’s day-to-day life like personal life, work life or school life while also affecting the family. The most common onset is at around ages btw 20-30, with a later peak between 30-40 years.
Treatment:
The diagnosis of this disorder depends mainly on your activities, your behaviour reported by your friends or relatives and also by mental status examination. Generally people affected by this disorder are treated by:
1.Counselling
2.Anti-depressants
3.Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT)
4.Electroconvulsive Therapy(for minors only)
5.Hospitalization(rare cases)
The course of the disorder may vary depending upon the extent of affectedness. Sometimes it might be for a few weeks or in some cases may last for lifelong.
Clinical Assessment: A diagnostic assessment may be conducted by a general practitioner who is continuously assessing your behaviour and current circumstance. The practitioner may also discuss ways of regulating mood by alcohol or drug use. A mental state examination is also carried out, which is an assessment of your current behaviour, thoughts, in particular the pattern of thoughts and the idea of self-esteem. Sometimes, rating scales are also used to determine the effect of depression in a person. A cut off point is set to determine the extent of fault in the person’s mind.
Anti-Depressants: Many patients are bound to receive this medications for the cure of depression disorder. It can take weeks, months or even years for its cure. Some of the widely used anti-depressants sub groups are:
Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors
Dopamine Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors
Serotonin  Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors
There also a numerous side-effects to the above mentioned drugs such as:
1.Weight Gain
2.Nervousness
3.Weakness
4.Dry Mouth
5.Nausea
6.Abnormal Ejaculation
7.Headache/Migraine
8.Decrease Sexual Interest
Our mood is affected by neurotransmitter which are present in our brain and mainly sent and received by brain cells (neurons). When serotonin and norepinephrine levels reduce in our brain we become sad or depressed. The antidepressants maintain the balance of these chemicals in our brains and effect our mood. Thus in most of the cases antidepressants are advised for use.
Major Depressive disorder is a disorder which is harmful not only for the affected person but also to people around him. It can be cured completely with the use of anti-depressants and other treatments over a period of time.

Ten Rules for Good Studying

1. Use recall. After you read a page, look away and recall the main ideas. Highlight very little, and never highlight anything you haven’t put in your mind first by recalling. Try recalling main ideas when you are walking to class or in a different room from where you originally learned it. An ability to recall—to generate the ideas from inside yourself—is one of the key indicators of good learning.
2. Test yourself. On everything. All the time. Flash cards are your friend.
3. Chunk your problems. Chunking is understanding and practicing with a problem solution so that it can all come to mind in a flash. After you solve a problem, rehearse it. Make sure you can solve it cold—every step. Pretend it’s a song and learn to play it over and over again in your mind, so the information combines into one smooth chunk you can pull up whenever you want.
4. Space your repetition. Spread out your learning in any subject a little every day, just like an athlete. Your brain is like a muscle—it can handle only a limited amount of exercise on one subject at a time.
5. Alternate different problem-solving techniques during your practice. Never practice too long at any one session using only one problem-solving technique—after a while, you are just mimicking what you did on the previous problem. Mix it up and work on different types of problems. This teaches you both how and when to use a technique. (Books generally are not set up this way, so you’ll need to do this on your own.) After every assignment and test, go over your errors, make sure you understand why you made them, and then rework your solutions. To study most effectively, handwrite (don’t type) a problem on one side of a flash card and the solution on the other. (Handwriting builds stronger neural structures in memory than typing.) You might also photograph the card if you want to load it into a study app on your smartphone. Quiz yourself randomly on different types of problems. Another way to do this is to randomly flip through your book, pick out a problem, and see whether you can solve it cold.
6. Take breaks. It is common to be unable to solve problems or figure out concepts in math or science the first time you encounter them. This is why a little study every day is much better than a lot of studying all at once. When you get frustrated with a math or science problem, take a break so that another part of your mind can take over and work in the background.
            7. Use explanatory questioning and simple analogies. Whenever you are struggling with a concept, think to yourself, How can I explain this so that a ten-year-old could understand it? Using an analogy really helps, like saying that the flow of electricity is like the flow of water. Don’t just think your explanation—say it out loud or put it in writing. The additional effort of speaking and writing allows you to more deeply encode (that is, convert into neural memory structures) what you are learning.
8. Focus. Turn off all interrupting beeps and alarms on your phone and computer, and then turn on a timer for twenty-five minutes. Focus intently for those twenty-five minutes and try to work as diligently as you can. After the timer goes off, give yourself a small, fun reward. A few of these sessions in a day can really move your studies forward. Try to set up times and places where studying—not glancing at your computer or phone—is just something you naturally do.
9. Eat your frogs first. Do the hardest thing earliest in the day, when you are fresh.
10. Make a mental contrast. Imagine where you’ve come from and contrast that with the dream of where your studies will take you. Post a picture or words in your workspace to remind you of your dream. Look at that when you find your motivation lagging. This work will pay off both for you and those you love!

Life isn't easy!

Many people complain about their lives. They curse all the happenings in their life and also all the people in it. But they never realize that it's their way of seeing life which is making life tough! You have a positive attitude towards life, life will be positive & easy! Its not that God is being hard on you, it is you are having a bad attitude which is being hard on you and your life!
For people who don't have any hardships in your life, then you are doing it all wrong!
Life is all about facing hardships and challenges! Just how food is without salt, life is same without challenges! When you come across a point in life where you have no challenges then you have to change the style of your living! You have back up and do something so that you face challenges and become stronger! Well, changing in the sense only for the good! By bringing challenges in your life I don't mean to say that you have to put yourself in trouble to bring about challenges & hardships!
Backing down from these challenges will never take you anywhere in life! Facing them and standing against them will not only make you stronger but also take you to heights! Always remember nothing great was achieved without any drop of sweat being made! As the old line says- "No Pain, No Gain."

6.9.14

Destination Life...!!

Every day we come across so many people. But as a matter of fact, the person with a cheerful, smiling face and a jovial mood is given more preference than a person with a pessimistic outlook towards life. It seems as if he is ready to face every moment, the way it comes to him. He has made his life, a blend of challenges, risks, accomplishments, dedications and commitments, he knows how to taste the true essence of life by extracting hope even where darkness rules! His conscience, his mentality never permits him to think of the past or worry about the future but to live in the present. He never loses hope and determination.
But in contrast to this, there are people who are just the opposite to them, life is burden; life means sorrow and loneliness. They have been trying hard but without any “Desire” to live. They hardly appeal to people and end up making few companies, they are the ones who wish to be sad specially when they can really have a great time having fun rather than plugging into a pool of depression.

Ideal is that person who, in spite of all strife and all obstacles rises each time he falls, then walks and then runs as before. Life may be precious and n doubt, it is. But it is a mere thing. There’s nothing to worry much about it either. Life is a queer blend f sorrow and joy. People will come, people will go,  opportunities will come and go t might take a turn or t just might not! So what? There is always a tomorrow and each tomorrow unlocks a new door in front of us. Life attains fulfilment only when you live it to its fullness and hats off those who do so. I think by now it’s clear that life’s  nothing but a blank canvas waiting eagerly for you to leave on it a colourful brush stroke.

Work Hard and Dont Give Up!

Life is strange! You never know when it can knock you down and give you shocks! These can be good and bad! You might not be expecting it. This is life! Here nothing can be predicted! Its a journey which everyone has a ticket of but no predicted stops! Your journey might be over now at this moment or tomorrow or many years later! No one knows when! This is life!
But do you always sit and wait for life to take you wherever you are destines to or you wanna make sure you get the nearest possible stop that you want to and are living for?
Just sitting and doing nothing will never take you anywhere in life! You have to be constantly working and crafting your life so that you get what you want! But how do you do it?
That completely depends on you! You want it the hard way or the easy way! But yes! Do remember that working hard will surely give you success! Some people may get it sooner and some later but success is guaranteed only if you work hard!
Nothing can stop you from getting success once you start working hard! Start working hard and success will come running behind you!
Another point to remember is that you must have clarity in life! Working hard without knowing where you have to reach will also take you nowhere!
Some people say that they have been working hard for long but haven't yet tasted success! A simple reason might be the clarity that they don't have! They might not have any clarity and simply working hard! This will never take them anywhere!
Have clarity in life, set a goal and work hard- Success is yours for sure!

Plastic Surgery To Not Be Bullied.

Could this even be possible? It has being reported that teens have been undergoing plastic surgery just to not be bullied. Though it is not observed in all countries, but it is dominated in the United States and the neighboring countries. And the root cause of all this is because of the reason that teens are worried about their appearances and are getting bullied because of an appearance that is not liked by all. But what we don't understand is we have to be ourselves and picture ourselves as the god s best creation. According to the statistics, 3.2 million students are bullied each year. About 160, 000 children miss school each year and 39% of them have accepted that it was because of bullying. It has been accepted that there is 30% increase in plastic surgery s. 236, 000 teenagers between the age group 13 -19 have undergone cosmetic procedures. Maximum number of surgeries involved otoplasty or ear surgery, which is done to prevent psychological issues of being teased. Angioplasty , nose surgery which is most requested by the teenagers. Breast reduction and asymetry can be corrected and it is being requested by teenage girls. Also some minimally invasive procedures are done such as laser skin surfacing, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and laser hair removal. If teenagers appreciated themselves and others for who they are all this could be avoided, money saved and true beauty sustained. All these procedures just encourages the bully who start thinking they have the power to make you undergo any one of the following procedure. All we have to do is be brave and fight against their weak points and usually which we excel at, they are weak. Think of alternatives and save yourselves.

14.7.14

Teens and Toppers

In every class there is a topper. But what kind of topper does your school have? Usually toppers have less friends and are titled as nerds so to make more friends they do what they are best at. It starts with teaching the other students with answers in exams. And this finally they make friends . But in this process the students don't understand that what they are doing will prevent them from studying. They will start to depend on the topper for their marks. And the topper though with a felling of disgust that he has to give some of his marks he has a plan. He makes sure you get depended on him and then during the final exams he gives up on you guys and also by that time you guys would have become so good friends that it is even hard to let go each other. This topper as the name suggests tops the class. The other kind of topper is one who doesn't teach you but let's you see and make sure he is not disturbed by your act and is always out of trouble. Only if you are quick enough you can copy from him or else he would be writing in a new page with the pages with the answer s below it. This kind of topper may be overtaken too if you work hard as soon you will understand its not possible to copy. Even some toppers keep everything with themselves and don't even show a piece of what he has written. Such a guy you wouldn't want to have. If pressurized he would even complain the teacher about your wrong doings. But each class has a topper. And if you are that guy make sure to be fun loving and even a bit of helping but don't let other students depend on you. Because just for your betterment you are spoiling their future and all that just for a bit of marks. Be a topper nobody would even dream of. Because to be rare is to be unique. And to be unique is to be a topper.

12.7.14

When Is The Right Age??

AGE! The three letter word hat do many things, can cause many things! It can kill people, it can drive people crazy and also change people! But the question still remains! - WHEN IS THE RIGHT AGE?
People especially teens are often not allowed to do things even though they are mature enough. For example they arent allowed to hangout with friends even if they are in college! Some are not allowed to talk to girls/boys also. Some have no mobiles or computers. Thses restrictions annoy all teens and they often get angry on their parents! Teens don't realize that their is a reason behind every doing. The parents have lived in this world more than we have! They have got more experience than we have! So their must be a reason for the restrictions! Don't get annoyed or angry! Be cool and age will come!
One thought for the teens also. Me being a teen, i know how it hurts to not do something you love! But us it actually right on the part of the elders not allowing us do anything? If we do we get the experience and can be careful the next time! We can agree to what our parents say after the experience! We can also give suggestions to others who are facing the same problem that you were! This will give you more experience and also will help you gain respect! It has its own benefits!
On the other hand the parents are also not wrong. Nor we are. This is just a topic that can be debated on for hours and yet get no conclusion!
Friends! Think before you take any step! Just be careful! Happy going!

A Word About Depression.

One day, a detailed knowledge of the biology of depression may help us to predict which antidepressant will work best for each person. Right now, though, psychiatrists and other doctors who prescribe antidepressants choose a particular drug and dosage based on many factors, including the following:Diagnosis. Certain drugs work better for specific symptoms and types of depression. For example, some antidepressants may be better than others when insomnia is an issue.Side effects. Ask your doctor about the side effects of the recommended antidepressant. If common side effects are things you want to avoid, see if there is another option.Age. As you age, your body tends to break down drugs more slowly. Thus, older patients may need a lower dosage. Only a few medications have been studied carefully for use in children.Health. Your doctor will consider factors such as heart disease or neurological illnesses when recommending a particular antidepressant. Be sure to discuss any medical problems thoroughly with your primary care doctor or psychiatrist before starting an antidepressant.Medications, supplements, and diet. When combined with certain drugs or substances, antidepressants may not work as well or may even have worrisome or dangerous side effects. People taking an antidepressant known as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) need to take particular care.Alcohol or drugs. Alcohol and other substances can cause depression and make antidepressants less effective. Doctors often treat alcohol or drug addiction first if they believe either is causing the depression. In many instances, simultaneous treatment for addiction and depression is warranted.Once you have learned as much as you can about the treatment options, talk to your doctor about the approach that seems best for you given your lifestyle, your interests, and your judgment.

Get To Know Your Shades..

If you are using ur sunglasses just as a style statement u could still harm your eyes , and end up covering your eyes completely with pitch dark black sight. Sunlight, specifically ultraviolet (UV) radiation, has been linked to several eye conditions, including cataracts and early onset age-related macular degeneration. It’s hard to avoid the sun, but it is easy to protect your eyes by wearing sunglasses. Sunglasses need not bear a designer label or cost hundreds of rupees to do their job properly.
Sunglasses are labeled according to guidelines for UV protection established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The two forms of UV light that affect health include: UVA, which is responsible for skin tanning and aging.UVB, which is linked to sunburn and skin cancer; a large portion is absorbed by the atmosphere’s ozone layer. Before buying sunglasses, look at the ANSI label; even inexpensive sunglasses can be effective.-
COSMETIC:- Lightly tinted lenses, good for daily wear. Blocks 70% of UVB rays, 20% of UVA, and 60% of visible light.
GENERAL PURPOSE:-Medium to dark lenses, fine for most outdoor recreation. Blocks 95% of UVB, 60% of UVA, and 60% to 90% of visible light. Most sunglasses fall into this category.
SPECIAL PURPOSE:-Extremely dark lenses with UV blockers, recommended for places with very bright conditions such as beaches and ski slopes. Blocks 99% of UVB, 60% of UVA, and 97% of visible light.
A darker looking lens may not provide better UV protection than a lighter lens.If you aren’t sure what kind of sunglasses to buy, or think you may be at high risk for eye disease, check with your eye doctor.

When the last bell goes…!!!

Can you think of a music that is sweeter than that of the last bell? The whole school gets a thrill. It seems as the gates of the prison have opened and inmates are lining up to leave as soon as possible.

All the periods after the recess are full of boredom. The gloom reaches its height in the last period. Even the teachers know it; they also eagerly wait to get rid of students after such a long hectic day. But, every minute hangs heavily on the heads of the students. They constantly keep on looking at the needles of the watch. When there are only 5 minutes left, they start packing up. Even though their eyes are on the blackboard, their hands are busy packing the bags.

Just as the last period is about to end, the first thing that happens is the blocking of flow of knowledge into the brains of the students. The sound of the last bell fills them with sheer joy.

One can hear their noise and shouts from quite a distance. Just like the passengers of a local train, everyone wants to come out first. The teacher tries to control them. The students obey but forget the orders immediately afterwards.

As soon as they reach the school compound, their chatter and gossips grow louder. Within few minutes the whole mad rush is over, the school wears a dreary look and becomes sad and gloomy.

Clothes and Make-up cannot change your natural beauty!!!

What makes a person’s identity? Is it the clothes, beauty, appearance or the basic character of the person? Well clothes and your overall appearance no matter how beautiful, vanish or rather fade away with time, whereas your character stays with you till end. Thus, it’s the real you that matters more than the image that people have of you.

Clothes and make-up are the means of disguise. For some, they represent dignity while others use these to disguise their evil self. Clothes might catch ones eyes but character is what attracts the heart. The respect u gain by your appearance is false and untrue, but the love gained by means of the heart is what lasts forever! I am denying the fact that we should dress up well and look smart in front of others…but your character, the way you express yourself in front of others matters more.

A person with a heart of gold, will always stand out, no matter what sort of clothes he wears. On the other hand, an evil person will try very hard to conceal his self under the veil of expensive clothes and make-up, but sooner or later, his real self will be known by one and all.

Thus, you are always remembered for the person you are and not by your clothes you wear. So teens, develop your character, behaviour and attitude towards others. This is what is going to help you for your future.   All the best!!

Teenage- The Actual Meaning!!!

Most of the teens keep telling ‘We are teenagers and we belong to the most wonderful age’ which is termed as teenage. They believe that this age group is the best age of human beings where you learn about the real life. But how many of us have ever thought what this ‘Teenage’ actually means?? Most of the teens believe Teenage is only about surprises, enjoyment, partying with friends and hanging out for every single occasion. But Teenage actually means an age of people ranging between 13-19. This age group undergoes many changes physically and mentally. This transition period from childhood to adulthood is also termed as adolescence.
Teenage is an age where one learns what actual life is, the responsibilities they have to shoulder as an individual, and prove themselves as responsible citizens of their respective countries. I am not denying the fact that it is an age where teens should enjoy and have fun with friends but at the same time they should know their limits. There are teens, who feel they have grown up, believe that they don’t require anyone’s guidance and start taking important decisions of life. They take extreme steps to attract people and always be the centre of attraction. If they are not identified in a group or are made fun of, to impress them, these teens can go to any extent.
Teens should understand that they aren’t mature enough to take their own decisions. Teens make decisions in just seconds not realizing about the consequences of taking quick decisions which makes their lives miserable most of the times. Teenagers should take guidance from their elders to lead a joyful and contented life ahead. I am not telling that decisions made by elders should always be right but they have experienced reality of life better than us. Some teens feel they are monitored all the time and do not get the deserved freedom. But there are teens who also misuse the liberty given to them. Elders keep an eye on us so that they don’t spoil are lives and make it miserable.
If we all teenagers understand the actual meaning of teenage, I am sure teenage is going to the best age of an individual’s life. Teenagers have exposure to so many things , they get to learn something new each and every day. So by now, I hope you would all have understood the actual meaning of teenage.
I define TEENAGE in 5e’s:
EXPIERENCES, EXPOSURES, EXCITEMENTS, ENJOYMENT & ENTHUSISM.

Let the gap fly..

We say - we are independent . Our happiness is not dependent on anyone. But the truth is , we are the big liars. Don't we often sacrifice our wishes for others ? Don't we often cry by seeing our closed ones upset, ? specially when you know your acts won't mend the tensions between you and your lovers..

This happens with those people the most who follow a set of principles in their lives.  Everyone of us who are walking on this earth follows a set of principles. These principles can be set by their ancestors or by themselves. In today's era, Youth walks on the set of principles formed by them. They do what they find correct to follow.
On the other hand, our elders have a different set of principles to follow. They believe in the customs and beliefs set by our ancestors. They believe in the power of givingHAPPINESS .
As our angels say- "Spread love wherever you go,
your simple step can be the breath to someone,
Make this birth the best of your existence,
Who knows if it is the last !!

Life for them is equivalent to walking on the above lines. Actually, not only for them but for everyone of us. Just the way is different. They believe in surrendering their life for others and go on to teach this to their next generation. If we say, this is what has happened in the past. Lord Rama went for 14 years exile on the orders of raja dashrath and maata kaikayi. Because their orders were his command. We (our ancestors) believe in hindu mythology. India is a culture-rich country where all the gods are worshipped equally and with great enthusiasm. And a follower(bhakt) always follows its idol/god. Thus, our parents never think about going against their god(parents) untill and unless its about the dignity of their(our) country. And i say...there is nothing wrong in this.

Considering the ideologies and perspective of the two generations , it will be an injustice to call any one of them wrong. Each one of the two is moving towards peace and serenity in their own ways.

Only one trait needs to be enlightened in the today's generation, that is- the power to surrender. Love them as much as you can. Do as they say whenever possible. Never try to impose your things on them, this way you are insulting them. I am not asking you to stand against your principles. But,  Don't ignore them as well. For example- If you think that a girl should not kill her dreams and their brother/partner should help them in household work. Then you will have to do both the things first. Do wonderfully at both the places. In the mean time take the support of your male partners. Make them so comfortable in the work that they start enjoying it. In this way a time will come when you won't be burdened to do the household work. When your male partners will start supporting you then the elders won't have any problem. Be calm and composed while introducing your point of view. Teach them like they don't know anything about it.

For the parents- You are the soul of every child's life. They are truly incomplete without you. You are the one who give life to their wings. You wish them a successful life in every second of your life. But, what will happen if their will be no soul in that life...
                                                  Give the ones you love
                                                   wings to fly,
                                                   roots to come back
                                                 and the  reasons to stay
                                                                       - dalai lama

Your kids are born with different wings that will cover different hieghts. They need fresh air to breathe. They can walk according to you but they are loosing their fragerance in the course of it. And no flower can bloom in the absence of aroma.

They don't want to hurt you. But, they want to go out of the cage that you have closed them in. They want to explore different skies. They want to experience what they have learnt from you and their teachers. Or i should say- they want to check if that really exist. It's not that they don't trust you. They are curious , just like einstein was after science. And curosity is the mother of invention. If they discover something contradictory to what you believe then accept that. Because all of us are human beings, we can be wrong at some times. If you think the child is wrog then explain it how,..as it is curious. Don't say society won't accept. Their are many times when society has criticized but at the end has accepted. So, let its inner grace grow. Let the knowledge prosper.

And the time will come when the people will forget ..What  The  Generation Gap IS.  They will just remember the two lovely birds of different ages living HAPPILY...:)
